Nebraska Reassignment of Manufacturer/Importer's Certificate
by Motor Vehicle Dealer

If all reassignments on a Manufacturer's Statement of Origin (MSO) are used, a licensed dealer may attach a Nebraska Reassignment of Manufacturer/Importer's Certificate by Motor Vehicle Dealer form.

• If all reassignments on the dealer assignment for have been used, the dealer must obtain title in the dealer's name prior to any subsequent transfer.

• If all reassignments on the Nebraska Reassignment of Manufacturer/Importer's Certificate are full, the dealer must obtain title in the dealer's name prior to any subsequent transfer.

• Only one dealer assignment form may be attached to an MSO and it must be the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles approved form.

• Any dealer who uses this dealer assignment form (or the MSO) to assign ownership to another dealer, or the end consumer, must be enfranchised for the make of the vehicle shown on the front of the MSO.

• All reassignments on the MSO and dealer assignment form must be completed properly in order to effect transfer of the MSO to a title.

This Nebraska Reassignment of Manufacturer/Importer's Certificate by Motor Vehicle Dealer form is on secure paper and is available for licensed dealers to purchase from the Nebraska New Car & Truck Dealer's Association at the address below. These forms will not be available through the Department of Motor Vehicles or any county motor vehicle office.
