Underage 21 Point Accumulation Suspension

Explanation:

If you are under the age of 21, and you accumulate six (6) or more points within a 12-month time period, you will be required to complete a Defensive Driving Course to prevent suspension. This course must be completed within 3-months of the date the Department of Motor Vehicles sends notification to you.

Reinstatement Requirements:

2. Pay a $50.00 reinstatement fee. Payment must be in the form of a cashier’s check or money order made payable to the Department of Motor Vehicles or online with MasterCard, Visa or Discover. When submitting payment, include identifying information (i.e. name, date of birth, license or social security number and current mailing address). Payment submitted by personal or business checks or not for the required amount will be returned.

3. At age 21 - pay a $50.00 reinstatement fee. Payment must be in the form of a cashier’s check or money order made payable to the Department of Motor Vehicles or online with MasterCard, Visa or Discover. When submitting payment, include identifying information (i.e. name, date of birth, license or social security number and current mailing address).
