Effective October 1, 2009, as a result of LB403 passed in the 2009 Legislative session,
all individuals applying for any type of driver's license, permit or identification card must
attest to the following statement(s):
I am a citizen of the United States or I am a qualified alien under the federal Immigration
and Nationality Act and agree to provide a copy of my USCIS documentation upon request.
